[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]What is GGI eDesign™?[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Gail Green Interiors eDesign (also referred to as GGI eDesign™) is an additional service offering that provides user friendly forms, instructions and electronic tools to allow clients to send and receive information of their choosing from the convenience of their computer (or any electronic device that has a camera and internet connection).[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”normal” position=”center”][vc_column_text]What are the benefits of GGI eDesign™?[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]GGI eDesign™ is often more affordable, convenient and faster for clients who are primarily interested in customized recommendations through a do-it yourself approach with the assistance of a design professional.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”normal” position=”center”][vc_column_text]How does GGI eDesign™ work?[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]With the help of user-friendly forms, instructions and electronic tools, clients simply:

  1. Indicate a design need
  2. Complete a series of responsive questions
  3. Attach supporting materials as needed

To get started, simply visit our eDesign page and select either the “Fixed Priced Options” button or the “Variable Priced Options” button. The custom built forms will guide you through the process.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”normal” position=”center”][vc_column_text]What are fixed priced options?[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Interior design is often associated with price structures consisting of hourly rates or percentages of total cost. To help provide additional transparency and simplicity for our clients, GGI offers select fixed priced services so that clients know the total cost up front. At this time, these include:

  • eDesign Professional Assessments
  • eDesign Packages
[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”normal” position=”center”][vc_column_text]What are variable priced options?[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Variable priced options are any interior design services that do not have a fixed cost, and thus depend on certain “variables” such as the number of hours that it will take to complete the service. Variable priced options will either take the form of an hourly rate or will be agreed upon directly with the designer. To review a price estimate for these types of services, you can complete the GGI eDesign™ Variable Price Questionnaire.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”normal” position=”center”][vc_column_text]What are GGI eDesign™ packages?[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]GGI eDesign™ packages are fixed priced packages that can be purchased by completing the GGI eDesign™ Fixed Price Questionnaire.

They are wonderful options for those that would like customized recommendations and purchasing suggestions through a do-it yourself approach with the assistance of a design professional. GGI currently offers 3 packages:

  • Spruce Up
  • Rejuvenate
  • Sophisticate

Depending on which package is chosen, clients receive recommendations for Color Selection, Furniture Selection, Fabric Selection, Window Treatments, Flooring, Lighting, Accessories, and Art. Add-on options include Floor Plans and Personal Visits.

Factors that increase the amount of time include:

  • Orders with Floor Plans
  • Sophisticate Packages
  • Larger Spaces
  • Orders with GGI eDesign™ Booklets

The quality of client provided information (e.g. photos and responses to the form) is also a large determinant as to the how long it will take to complete a package. If information is deficient, unclear or conflicting, this will increase the amount of time it takes to complete a package as the designer will need to obtain and clarify this information.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”normal” position=”center”][vc_column_text]Will I be able to speak with a designer over the phone?[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Absolutely. You may call the office (212.737.0166) at any time, however to ensure that you get proper time and attention relating to your package, you should provide accurate contact information to GGI and schedule a specific time to discuss your package.

Each eDesign Professional Assessment (included with every design package) comes with a post consultation phone call to go over the designer’s recommendations and suggestions. The nature and duration of the phone call will be at the discretion of the designer and determined on a case by case basis, however the average duration of a phone call is 15 – 20 minutes.

If you do not provide GGI with a valid phone number and schedule your phone consultation within 7 calendar days after receiving your design, you forego the opportunity to speak with a designer over the phone.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”normal” position=”center”][vc_column_text]How long does it take to receive an eDesign Professional Assessments?[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]It takes approximately 1 – 2 weeks to complete a professional assessment. Factors that increase the amount of time include:

  • Orders with GGI eDesign™ Booklets

The GGI eDesign™ Booklet contains specific purchasing recommendations, a shopping list and a breakdown of your spending based on your budget.

Each package allows for an add-on option for furniture placement guidance. The GGI eDesign™ Booklet will illustrate where items should go and/or how they should be arranged.

Whether you have a crystal clear view of your design issue; or whether you don’t have a clue where to start, Answers On Demand can help. With this creative option, you have the ability to describe your issue and have a professional designer recommend an approach and a price without spending a penny.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”normal” position=”center”][vc_column_text]How does GGI eDesign™ Answers On Demand work?[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]You simply visit the GGI eDesign™ Variable Price Questionnaire page, select an option under the “eDesign Answers On Demand” section of the form, describe your issue or question, and then complete any other relevant parts of the form (such as if you wish to provide further information, photos, or documents as they relate to your question).

Our design team will then review your question, as well as any information that you provided, and contact you to discuss a price estimate and an approach for addressing your needs. The price estimate will be based on the design team’s professional judgment as to the best way to identify and present a solution that will resolve your issue.

In general, the average price estimate to review your information and provide a verbal response is between $50 and $75 for issues that can be resolved and communicated in under an hour. For more complex questions that require additional research and/or the development of materials, the price will be higher. Your designer will recommend an approach and discuss this with you prior to providing you with a solution. The solution may be a simple verbal response over a phone conversation, or it may be a drawing illustration, or a more comprehensive package.
